Tuesday

A Jamie Lindsay inspired Rotherham United churned out yet another win. They edged Accrington Stanley 1-0 and lead the League One table by a massive 9 points.

Gillingham secured a priceless 1-0 win against Cambridge United in their fight to retain League One status. Olly Lee completed the 90 minutes for The Gills.

Aaron Morley’s assist gave Bolton Wanderers a 2-1 victory over Charlton Athletic. That’s 6 games unbeaten in League One that includes 5 wins.

Salford new boy Luke Bolton made his debut as a late substitute in an attempt to take all 3 points. City had to settle for a 0-0 draw at Sutton United.

Ed Francis was part of the Notts County side that smashed Barnet 6-1 in the National League.

Wednesday

Barrie McKay’s first half assist wasn’t quite enough for Hearts to gain a positive result at Tynecastle. Dundee United won 2-1 in the SPL fixture.  

Friday

The New Saints picked up their 8th consecutive win to head the Welsh Premier League. Declan McManus was on target again in the 4-1 win at Cefn Druids.

Saturday

Barrie McKay’s Hearts edged out Livingston on penalties in the Scottish Cup 5th Round, after a goalless draw at Tynecastle.

Aaron Morley’s assist for Bolton Wanderers’ opening goal sent them on their way to a 3-2 win in a tight contest at Oxford United.

Also in League One; Elliot Lee opened the scoring for Charlton Athletic at the DW Stadium. Callum Lang’s run into the box earned Wigan Athletic an equalising penalty-kick. The Latics went on to secure a 2-1 victory.

Olly Lee featured for Gillingham during their 1-1 draw at Morecambe.

Notts County progress into the FA Trophy Quarter-Finals thanks to a 2-1 win at FC Halifax Town. Ed Francis’ men will face Oxford City at Meadow Lane on Saturday 27th February.

There was a 2-0 win for Ryan McLean’s Hereford in the National League North against Guiseley.

Sunday

Rotherham United restored their 9 point advantage at the top of League One courtesy of a 2-0 win at local rivals Sheffield Wednesday, with Jamie Lindsay featuring for them.

Abbie McManus captained Leicester City to a comfortable 3-0 win over West Ham United in the the FA Women’s Super League.

Taylor Hinds’ Liverpool tightened their grip at the top of the FA Women’s Championship thanks to a 3-0 home win against Sunderland. #FullNinetyFamily
