Tuesday

Coventry City built on their weekend success with a close fought 1-0 win against Plymouth Argyle. Liam Kitching continues his seamless transition into Championship football with the ‘Sky Blues’.

Tyrese Campbell returned to the Stoke City starting eleven for their EFL Championship match in the capital. His side went down to a 4-2 defeat at Queens Park Rangers.

Jamie Lindsay stepped up his rehabilitation with another second half run out for Rotherham. ‘The Millers’ slipped to a 4-1 loss at Hull City. 

Bolton Wanderers continued their fabulous unbeaten run at the top of League One. Gethin Jones marshalled the defence to another clean sheet. Aaron Morley was an unused substitute in the goalless draw at Oxford United.

Wigan Athletic comfortably beat Fleetwood Town 3-0 at the DW Stadium. Callum Lang starred for the hosts, while Josh Earl was left disappointed for the visitors.

Tom Barkhuizen’s Derby County notched a late winner at Port Vale to continue their climb up the League One table (1-0). 

Man of the moment Elliot Lee was on target again for Wrexham in their 2-2 draw at Harrogate Town. The North Wales giants stay in second place in League Two.

Grimsby Town collected a point at MK Dons in League Two. Toby Mullarkey produced another great display in the 1-1 draw.

Dion Pereira made a 30 minute substitute appearance for loan club Sutton United in their 1-1 draw with Crewe Alexandra.

Wednesday

Leicester City consolidated their position at the top of the EFL Championship table with a 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday. Australian international Harry Souttar was an unused Sub.

Friday 

The Lionesses staged a remarkable comeback in their Nations League match at Wembley Stadium. Trailing 2-0 at the interval, England came from behind to beat The Netherlands 3-2. Big game player Ella Toone scoring the winner in added time.

Callum Lang captained Wigan Athletic to victory in the FA Cup Second Round. His side edged out York City 1-0 in front of the BBC cameras. 

Saturday 

Leicester City added another 3 points to their growing tally after another great win in the EFL Championship. Harry Souttar’s men beat West Brom 2-1.

Tyrese Campbell opened the scoring for Stoke City in their long distance away trip to Plymouth Argyle. The Potters conceded late to lose 2-1.

Another solid display from Liam Kitching couldn’t prevent Coventry City going down 2-1 away at high flying Ipswich Town in the Championship.

Scottish midfielder Jamie Lindsay made his long awaited return to the Rotherham United starting line up. His side played out a goalless draw at Birmingham City.

In form Bolton will face Premier League side Luton Town in the FA Cup Third Round after dispatching Harrogate Town 5-1. Gethin Jones and Aaron Morley combined to guide Wanderers to victory.

A Dion Pereira second half double sent Sutton into the third round of the FA Cup. United beat Horsham 3-0 and will travel to Plymouth Argyle next month.

Sunday

Hibernian welcomed Aberdeen to Easter Road for their SPL clash. A Martin Boyle double assist earned the three points (2-0).

Wrexham moved into the FA Cup Third Round after coasting through their tie against Yeovil Town (3-0). Elliot Lee was named the ITVX ‘Man of the Match’. #FullNinetyFamily
