Harry Souttar will return to the Premier League with Leicester City after ‘The Foxes’ won the EFL Championship. Harry was the cornerstone of an Australian side which is making huge strides towards the 2026 World Cup Finals.

Ella Toone was the toast of Manchester United following her brilliant strike in the FA Cup Final. A crowd of over 76,000 at Wembley Stadium saw ‘The Red Devils’ beat Spurs 4-0. The 24 year old also collected a FIFA World Cup runners-up medal with England.

Callum Lang hit the ground running following his January transfer to Portsmouth. The 25 year old scored goals at crucial times, which edged his new club towards the League One title.

Derby County will join Portsmouth in the EFL Championship after finishing as runners-up in League One. Tom Barkhuizen featured heavily during their promotion triumph.

The FullNinety family in League Two enjoyed extensive success with a host of players earning promotion. Elliot Lee and Luke Bolton finished as runners-up with Wrexham, while Davis Keillor-Dunn rtook third position with Mansfield. Ronan Darcy will also be playing in League One next season after Crawley Town won the play-off final at the National Stadium.

In Non-League football; Ed Francis collected an FA Trophy winners medal with Gateshead. They came out on top in a penalty shoot-out at a sun drenched Wembley.

Scott Butler’s loan move to Marine (from Wrexham) paid dividends with the Merseysiders gaining promotion to the National League North for the first time in their history.

The New Saints had another incredibly successful season in Wales. Declan McManus, Ben Clark and Dan Williams were mainstays in a league title and league cup double success.

Josh Williams was part of the Connah’s Quay side that celebrated winning the Welsh Cup.
