Monday 

Congratulations to 17 year old Danish goalkeeper TheoSander. His fantastic recent form for AaB saw him named in the Danish Superliga ‘Team of the Week’.

Socceroo Harry Souttar made his long awaited return from injury for Stoke u21’s with 45 minutes against Nottingham Forest.

Tuesday

Tyrese Campbell completed another 90 minutes for Stoke City in the EFL Championship. Despite his fine display ‘The Potters’ slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Rotherham United. 

Marine played out a goalless draw with Northern Premier League rivals Stalybridge Celtic. 20 year old forward Freddie Price completed an encouraging 76 minutes for his new club.

Another round of Papa John’s Trophy matches saw Aaron Morley feature for Bolton Wanderers in their 3-0 win over Leeds United Under 21’s. Salford City’s Luke Bolton supplied an assist in the 2-2 draw at Rochdale. 

Ben Tollitt got on the scoresheet again for Oldham Athletic. The 2-2 draw with Chester City in FA Cup Qualifying went all the way to a penalty shootout where the young man converted again. His side went through with a 4-3 success.

Saturday 

In the early kick off North of the border; Barrie Mckay featured in a 7 goal thriller as Hearts met top of the table Celtic at Tynecastle. ‘The Jambos’ eventually losing the game 3-4.

Gethin Jones starred for Bolton as the locked horns with local rivals Accrington Stanley. Wanderers trailed by two goals at the break before launching a second half come back to win 3-2.

Ronan Darcy’s great form continued for Swindon Town who beat Hartlepool 2-1 at the County Ground. 

Goal machine Declan McManus was on target again for The New Saints during their 2-0 win against Pontypridd United. They sit pretty at the top of the Welsh Premier League. 

Wrexham collected another point in their battle for promotion from the National League. Elliot Lee’s men drew 1-1 with Boreham Wood.

Ben Tollitt was the key man again for Oldham Athletic in their quest to bounce straight back up to the EFL. They beat Yeovil 2-0 at Boundary Park.

Halifax Town beat Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 with defender Tylor Golden continuing to impress.

Sunday

Harry Souttar completed another impressive 65 minutes for Stoke u21’s, as he pushes towards a return to first team football.

Kirsty Levell faced Ella Toone in the WSL as Leicester City took on Manchester United. A single first half goal was enough for United to leave with the points.

On the South coast, Euros winner Bethany England started and scored the first in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Brighton. #FullNinetyFamily
