Liverpool drew 3-3 at Reading in an entertaining game in the WSL. Taylor Hinds made way midway through the second half for the ‘The Reds’, with Faye Bryson and Emma Harries making late substitute appearances for the hosts.

Defensive lynchpin Harry Souttar produced a colossal performance in Australia’s second Group D match at Qatar 2022. The Socceroos collected a hard earned 3 points after defeating Tunisia 1-0 at the Al Janoub Stadium in Doha. The giant Stoke City centre-back was the key man for the Aussies as they head into the final fixture with progression into the knockout stages tantalisingly close.
Liam Kitching’s Barnsley march onwards to the FA Cup third round following their convincing 3-0 win over Crewe at Oakwell.
Elliot Lee’s 20 yard strike was the pick of the bunch for Wrexham who go into the hat for the FA Cup third round draw. The National League leaders trounced Farnborough 4-1.
Altrincham beat Eastleigh 2-1 in the National League with Toby Mullarkey producing a Man of the Match performance at Moss Lane.
Former Blackburn Rovers academy graduate Jack Evans scored the opening goal for Hereford in the National League North. ‘The Bulls’ slipped to a narrow 2-1 defeat.

Emma Harries and Faye Bryson were part of the winning side for Reading in their League Cup match. They beat Southampton convincing with a 3-0 win.
