Dan Williams and Ben Clark both scored crucial goals for The New Saints in their Conference League first leg match in Lithuania. TNS beat Panevezys 3-0 and are in control heading back to Oswestry for the return leg.
St Patrick’s Athletic secured a goalless first leg draw against Turkish side Basaksehir. Tom Grivosti underpinned a solid defensive display at Richmond Park.

Dion Pereira and Jack Evans went head-to-head in the National League, where Dagenham & Redbridge drew 1-1 with Halifax Town.
Saturday
Harry Souttar made his full EFL Championship debut for Sheffield United at Carrow Road. He impressed in the 1-1 draw against Norwich City, while Tyrese Campbell made his debut from the substitute’s bench.
Portsmouth came away from Middlesbrough with a credible 2-2 draw. Callum Lang supplied an early assist at the Riverside Stadium.
Australian international winger Martin Boyle scored with a brilliant free-kick in Hibernian’s SPL match against Dundee (2-2).
