Ronan Hale came agonisingly close to claiming the winning goal for Ross County. His brilliant long range strike was countered by an added time equaliser from Barrie McKay’s Hearts, who grabbed a point at Tynecastle Park (1-1).
Sheffield United collected a useful point following their goalless draw at Portsmouth. Harry Souttar gave another commanding centre-back display in the EFL Championship fixture at Fratton Park.
Coventry City’s miserable run continued at Elland Road, where Liam Kitching’s men slumped to a 3-0 loss against Leeds United.
Jamie Lindsay went head-to-head with Aaron Morley in the central midfield battle at the Memorial Stadium. Aaron supplied two assists for Wycombe as they turned around a deficit to win 2-1. Wanderers’ victory moves them into the League One play-off places.
Wrexham played out a goalless draw at Leyton Orient. The point cements Elliot Lee’s team’s second place position in League One.
Also collecting a point a piece were Wigan and Exeter City after the 0-0 draw at the Brick Community Stadium. Scott Smith and Ed Francis made appearances for their respective clubs.

Manchester United edged out Everton 1-0 in the WSL. Ella Toone and Millie Turner featured for ‘The Red Devils’, whilst youngster Issy Hobson got second half minutes for ‘The Toffees’.
Taylor Hinds and Lucy Parry made WSL appearances for Liverpool in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United. Emma Harries featured for the hosts at Victoria Road.
