Monday

Namesakes Jonny and Scott Smith made second half substitute appearances at Bloomfield Road in League One. Blackpool grabbed an added time equaliser in the 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic.

Tuesday

On the international stage; England got back to winning ways with a 2-1 win against South Africa. Manchester United star Ella Toone made an impact from the substitute’s bench. 

Ed Francis faced Jamie Lindsay in the central midfield battle at the Memorial Ground. Ed’s Exeter City beat Bristol Rovers 3-2 thanks to a late winning goal. They qualify for the the EFL Trophy knockout stages after topping their group.

Wednesday

A full midweek program in the Scottish Premier League saw Ross County play out a goalless draw with Hibernian. Ronan Hale and Martin Boyle both featured in Dingwall. 

Heart of Midlothian introduced Barrie McKay into the action at Tynecastle Park in a bid to rescue a result. Kilmarnock managed to hang on and secure a 2-1 win.

FullNinety duo Declan McManus and Ben Clark scored a late goal apiece to turn around the match for The New Saints. They won 2-1 away at Connah’s Quay in the Welsh Premier League.

Friday

Footballing centre-back Tom Grivosti guided St Patrick’s tothird place in the League of Ireland table following a final day victory. Athletic beat Sligo 2-0 which is rewarded with European competition next season.

Saturday

Tyrese Campbell made it two goals in two appearances for Sheffield United in the EFL Championship. Harry Souttar kept the door shut at the other end in the 2-0 win at Blackburn Rovers.

Also in England’s second tier; Callum Lang engineered the equalising goal for Portsmouth in the 1-1 draw against Hull City at the MKM Stadium. 

The FA Cup First Round saw a plethora of goals scored by the FullNinety contingent.

Jamie Lindsay was on target for Bristol Rovers as they saw off Weston-Super-Mare 3-0.

Scott Smith and Jonny Smith both scored extra time goals for Wigan Athletic in their 2-0 win at Carlisle United.

Dion Pereira struck the winning goal for Dagenham & Redbridge in their 1-0 win at Crewe Alexandra.

Toby Mullarkey scored with a last gasp equaliser at Maidenhead United. His Crawley Town side went on to win 2-1 after extra time.

Barnsley also progress into the next round following their 3-1 win at Port Vale. Davis Keillor-Dunn scored for ‘The Tykes’ and Josh Earl completed 90 minutes of action.

Josh Lundstram scored the winning goal in Oldham Athletic’s 2-1 victory at Tranmere Rovers.

Jamie Stott and Ben Tollitt featured for Morecambe in their 2-0 success at Worthing.

Sunday

An added time equaliser denied Martin Boyle’s Hibernian all 3 points in the SPL. Dundee United earned a 1-1 draw at Easter Road.

Lioness Ella Toone returned to domestic action with Manchester United in the WSL. ‘The Red Devils’ drew 1-1 against Arsenal, with Millie Turner nominated as player of the match at Leigh Sports Village. 

Bethany England scored in Tottenham’s 2-1 win against West Ham United in the London derby. Ashleigh Neville and Emma Harries also made appearances at Brisbane Road.

Liverpool captain Taylor Hinds scored a first half brace to propel her side to victory at Villa Park. Lucy Parry made a second half substitute appearance in the 2-1 win.

Southampton saw off Charlton Athletic at The Valley. Tara Bourne scored the only goal with an 80th minute strike. Georgia Brougham also won it for London City Lionesses away at Sheffield United. #FullNinetyFamily
