Sheffield United defensive lynchpin Harry Souttar gave another commanding display on the world stage for Australia. The Socceroos’ collected a useful point in World Cup qualifying, following their goalless draw against Saudi Arabia. Martin Boyle and Hayden Matthews both watched on.

In the Women’s Super League; Bethany England and Ashleigh Neville suffered defeat in the North London derby. Tottenham Hotspur slipped to a disappointing 2-0 loss against local rivals Arsenal.
Barnsley had to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw at Cambridge United. Josh Earl and Davis Keillor-Dunn completed 90 minutes at the Abbey Stadium.
Jamie Lindsay, Ronan Darcy and Toby Mullarkey made up a trio of FullNinety players on display at the Memorial Stadium, where Bristol Rovers drew 0-0 with Crawley Town.
Also in League One; Ed Francis featured at St James Park where Exeter City played out a goalless draw with Lincoln City.
Josh Lundstram’s Oldham Athletic hammered Tamworth 4-0 at Boundary Park. The Latics recent fine form sees them occupy 4th place the National League.

Issy Hobson made a substitute appearance for Everton as ‘The Toffees’ claimed the Merseyside derby honours. Taylor Hinds captained Liverpool at Goodison Park, but was left disappointed (1-0).
Also in the Women’s Super League; Millie Turner’s Manchester United held off the challenge of Hannah Cain’s Leicester City to record a 2-0 win.
