Bolton came from behind to beat League One runaway leaders Birmingham City 3-1. Aaron Morley was again the key performer for Wanderers, who now hover just outside the play-off places.

Elliot Lee stepped off the substitute’s bench to inspire Wrexham’s late winner at Huddersfield Town (0-1). The result keeps ‘The Red Dragons’ in third spot in League One.

Former Manchester City academy graduate Ed Francis featured for Exeter City in the goalless draw at Reading. 

Also in League One, FullNinety trio Jonny Smith, Scott Smith and Ronan Darcy couldn’t breakdown a stubborn Mansfield Town in Wigan Athletic’s 0-0 draw. 

Jack Evans supplied the crucial winning assist which moved Halifax up to 6th place in the National League. Town beat Forest Green Rovers 2-1 at The Shay Stadium.

Tylor Golden’s Altrincham won 2-1 away at York City to solidify the final National League play-off place.

Friday

Ishé Samuels-Smith provided a 94th minute assist to help Chelsea ease past Ipswich Town 2-1 and in to the next round of the Premier League Cup.

Saturday 

Tyrese Campbell scored the winning goal with a headed finish for Sheffield United in the EFL Championship. ‘The Blades’ keep the pressure on Leeds United at the top of the table with a 1-0 win against Preston North End at Bramall Lane.

Coventry City’s remarkable turnaround in form continues in the EFL Championship. Liam Kitching captained ‘The Sky Blues’ to a thrilling 3-2 victory against Stoke City at the CBS Arena. 

Manchester United cruised into the Women’s FA Cup Semi-Finals after dispatching Sunderland at Leigh Sports Village. Ella Toone struck the winning goal while Millie Turner alsofeatured in the 3-1 success.

Wrexham moved level with Wycombe Wanderers on points in the League One promotion race. Elliot Lee’s men beat Rotherham United 1-0 at the Racecourse Ground. 

Aaron Morley smashed home the opening goal at the Pirelli Stadium. Bolton Wanderers went on to beat Burton Albion 2-1 and move into the League One play-off places.

Ed Francis’ Exeter City eased to a 2-0 victory against Shrewsbury Town in League One. 

Ronan Darcy, Jonny Smith and Scott Smith all made appearances for Wigan Athletic, who edged out Cambridge United 1-0 at the Brick Community Stadium.

Toby Mullarkey returned to the Crawley starting XI after his spell out injured. A late equaliser rescued a point for Town in the 1-1 draw with Reading. 

Goal machine Declan McManus scored the decisive goal with a brilliant free-kick for his new club Coleraine in the Irish Premiership. They won 1-0 away at Glenavon.

Luton Town loanee Aribim Pepple opened his goalscoring account for Chesterfield in League One. His side beat Newport County 2-1.

A solitary goal was enough for Halifax Town to consolidate their National League play-off spot. Jack Evans’ side beat Yeovil Town 1-0.

Sunday 

Taylor Hinds captained Liverpool to victory in the Women’s FA Cup quarter-final. They beat Arsenal 1-0 and will face Chelsea in the semi-final next month. #FullNinetyFamily
