In the EFL Championship, Wrexham slipped to an unexpected defeat at Watford. Davis Keillor-Dunn was introduced as a second half substitute in the 3-1 loss.

Lincoln City scored an added time equaliser to claim a 2-2 draw at Huddersfield Town and maintain their amazing unbeaten run. Key man Tom Hamer was nominated as the ‘Imps Man of the Match’.

Wycombe playmaker Aaron Morley supplied an assist in the 2-0 win at Cardiff City. Wanderers edge to within 2 points of the League One play-off places.

Dion Pereira and Ronan Darcy featured in Crawley Town’s 1-1 draw against Barnet at the Broadfield Stadium.

Harrogate Town scored three first half goals to ease the pressure at the foot of the League Two table. Jack Evans captained his side to a 3-0 win at Tranmere Rovers and provided a brilliant assist.

Wednesday

In the WSL, Manchester United played out a goalless draw at West Ham United with defensive cornerstone Millie Turner organising a clean sheet.

MK Dons beat Colchester United 1-0 to reaffirm their League Two automatic promotion place. Gethin Jones completed another influential 90 minutes at Stadium MK.

Saturday

19 year old Chelsea player Ishé Samuels-Smith made a substitute appearance for loan club Swansea City. His day ended in disappointment after a 3-0 loss against EFL Championship leaders Coventry City.

In the SPL, Martin Boyle’s Hibernian were held to a goalless draw at Motherwell, while Barrie McKay made a second half substitute appearance in Livingston’s 2-0 defeat at Kilmarnock.

In the WSL, Taylor Hinds lined up for Arsenal in the 5-0 drubbing of West Ham United. The victory keeps ‘The Gunners’ in the hunt for European football next season.

Captain Bethany England scored a consolation goal for Tottenham Hotspur in the heavy 5-2 loss away at league leaders Manchester City.

Millie Turner and Issy Hobson both featured in the WSL match at Leigh Sports Village, where Manchester United edged Everton 2-1.

In League Two, 19 year old Harry Ashfield supplied an assist for Cheltenham Town, although his side suffered a 5-2 defeat at high flying Notts County.

Ronan Hale scored a penalty-kick to give Gillingham an early lead at The Priestfield. His side failed to build on that advantage and slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Bristol Rovers.

Sunday

Welsh international Hannah Cain supplied a first half assistfor Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. The WSL fixture ended with a 2-1 win for visitors Aston Villa.
