Monday

A late winner secured a 3-2 victory for St Patrick’s Athletic against leaders Shelbourne. Liverpool born defender Tom Grivosti starred in the League of Ireland clash at Tolka Park. 

Tuesday

Coventry got back to winning ways thanks to a 3-0 home win against high flying Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Championship. Liam Kitching completed a solid 90 minutes at the back for City.

Midfield dynamo Jamie Lindsay scored a crucial goal for Bristol Rovers in the 3-2 success over Charlton Athletic at the Memorial Stadium.

Josh Earl and Davis Keillor-Dunn welcomed Aaron Morley to Oakwell for their League One clash. An entertaining contest finished 2-2 between Barnsley and Wycombe Wanderers.

Exeter City built on their weekend result with victory at Leyton Orient. Ed Francis featured heavily in the 1-0 win.

Jonny Smith made his long awaited comeback from injury in Wigan Athletic’s 3-0 home win against Peterborough United. Scott Smith also made a second half substitute appearance.

Morecambe gained a much needed point in League Two. The FullNinety contingent of Jamie Stott and Ben Tollitt both made starting appearances in the 1-1 draw against Bradford City.

Wednesday

16 year old Issy Hobson had a memorable evening for Everton in their opening Continental Cup match, where she completed an impressive 90 minutes. Following the 1-1 draw against Newcastle, ‘The Toffees’ won 3-0 on penalty kicks.

Emma Harries scored twice for West Ham United as they thrashed Portsmouth 6-1 in Group C. 

Manchester United got off to a winning start in Group A. Millie Turner marshalled the defence to a 2-0 win over Liverpool, who gave a second half run out to Taylor Hinds.

Bethany England captained Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-0 win against London rivals Charlton Athletic in their opening  Continental Cup Group E match.

Thursday

Barrie McKay’s Heart of Midlothian made the long trip to Belarus to face Dinamo Minsk and battled to a 2-1 win in the UEFA Conference League.

The New Saints travelled to take on Italian giants Fiorentina. Ben Clark, Dan Williams and Declan McManus all featured at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, but were undone by two second half goals (2-0).

Saturday

Australian international defender Harry Souttar orchestrated another clean sheet for Sheffield United. His side beat Luton Town 2-0 at Bramall Lane, with the result moving ‘The Blades’ to joint top of the EFL Championship table.

Liam Kitching’s first half assist wasn’t enough to earn Coventry a result against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship. A late goal condemned City to a 2-1 defeat. 

That man Elliot Lee was on target again for Wrexham as they put their midweek disappointment behind them. ‘The Red Dragons’ beat Northampton Town 4-1 at The Racecourse Ground.

Ed Francis’ Exeter City move up to 7th place in League One following a close 1-0 win over Cambridge United at St James Park.

Jamie Lindsay’s Bristol Rovers rounded off a perfect week with another victory. ‘The Gas’ won 3-1 away at Burton Albion 

Namesakes Jonny and Scott Smith made second half substitute appearances for Wigan Athletic in the goalless draw at Stockport County.

Ben Tollitt’s brilliant late free-kick proved to be only a consolation for Morecambe, who went down to a 2-1 loss at Accrington Stanley. 

Trailing by two goals at the interval, Jack Evans’ half time introduction inspired a second half comeback at The Shay Stadium. The turnaround was complete after Halifax Town struck a late winner to beat Tamworth 3-2.

Sunday 

Ross County welcomed Glasgow giants Celtic to Dingwall for the lunchtime kick off. Ronan Hale struck with a first half penalty and was unfortunate to finish on the losing side after conceding a late goal (1-2).

Taylor Hinds and Lucy Parry featured for Liverpool in the 3-2 win at Tottenham Hotspur in the WSL. Ashleigh Neville and Bethany England made up a quartet of FullNinety players on display. #FullNinetyFamily
