19 year old goalkeeper Theo Sander celebrated another victory in the Danish Superliga. His København side beat Nordsjælland 3-1 to maintain their place at the top of the table. 

Tuesday

Wales made history by qualifying for their first major tournament (Euro 2025) by beating Republic of Ireland 2-1 in Dublin. Leicester City forward Hannah Cain put her injury nightmare firmly behind her by slotting home a hugely pressurised penalty-kick (2-3 agg).

A huge congratulations to Manchester United centre-back Millie Turner who made her full England debut against Switzerland. The Lionesses won 1-0 to cap her memorable night at Bramall Lane.

Australian international Gethin Jones captained Bolton Wanderers to a 3-1 home victory against Mansfield Town in League One.

Ed Francis’ Exeter City held the Wycombe Juggernaut to a 2-2 draw, with Aaron Morley supplying an assist for Wanderers.

Elliot Lee featured for Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground, where the hosts grabbed a late winner against Josh Earl and Davis Keillor-Dunn’s Barnsley (1-0).

Crawley Town’s late goal eased their League One relegation fears. Ronan Darcy’s men won 2-1 at Charlton Athletic.

Morecambe collected a useful point with key forward Ben Tollitt scoring his 7th goal of the season. The Shrimps drew 2-2 at Tranmere Rovers.

Saturday 

Portsmouth recorded an emphatic 3-0 win in the EFL Championship. Form player Callum Lang scored the winning goal against Bristol City at Fratton Park. 

Star man Elliot Lee broke the deadlock in a tight affair at the Pirelli Stadium. The 1-0 success moves Wrexham to joint top of League One.

Aaron Morley’s Wycombe had to battle for a result against Reading. Wanderers drew 1-1 at Adams Park, which takes their incredible League One record to 16 matches unbeaten. 

Aribim Pepple struck a quick fire 17 minute hat-trick for Southend in the FA Trophy. United won 5-3 at Brentwood and progress into the 4th round.

Sunday

In the EFL Championship; Tyrese Campbell’s scintillating goalscoring form continued at The Hawthorns, where Sheffield United drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion.

Millie Turner returned to domestic action for Manchester United in the WSL. The Red Devils beat Taylor Hinds’ Liverpool 4-0. 

Bethany England’s brace earned all 3 points for Tottenham Hotspur. They beat Everton 2-1 at Brisbane Road.

West Ham turned around a two goal deficit to win 5-2 against London rivals Crystal Palace. Emma Harries and Kirsty Smith both featured for the victors. #FullNinetyFamily
