Monday

Tyrese Campbell was unfortunate not to be credited with the opening goal in the top of the table clash at Bramall Lane. Frustratingly, three late goals condemned Sheffield United to a 3-1 defeat against Leeds United in the EFL Championship.

Tuesday

Hannah Cain earned another international cap for Wales in the 1-1 draw against Sweden at the Racecourse Ground.

Josh Earl assisted the first of Davis Keillor-Dunn’s goal scoring brace for Barnsley in League One. ‘The Tykes’ won 2-1 at Northampton Town.

Chief creator Jonny Smith was at it again for Wigan Athletic in League One. He assisted the winning goal in the 2-1 victory against Huddersfield Town that also featured Ronan Darcy and Scott Smith.

Wednesday

England women pulled off a big win in their Nations League match against World Champions Spain (1-0). Ella Toone completed a hard working 84 minutes, while fellow Manchester United star Millie Turner was an unused substitute in the showpiece match at Wembley Stadium.

Martin Boyle captained Hibernian to a 3-1 victory away at Dundee United. After a disappointing start to the season, Hibs are now the SPL form side and move up to 4th place in the table.

Saturday

Sheffield United reaffirmed their second place spot in the EFL Championship with a 2-1 win at Queens Park Rangers. Tyrese Campbell scored the winning goal with a spectacular strike from outside the box.

Liam Kitching’s Coventry City are hitting top form as we approach the business end of the season. They beat Oxford United 3-2 to move into the Championship play-off places.

In League One, Barnsley’s main man Davis Keillor-Dunn scored with a brilliant lobbed finish and supplied an assist in the 4-3 victory against Lincoln City. Defenders Josh Earl and Tom Hamer also featured at Oakwell.

Bolton Wanderers held Wrexham to a goalless draw at the Racecourse Ground in League One. Aaron Morley completed 90 minutes, while Elliot Lee continued his return from injury with a late run out.

Jonny Smith added to his extensive catalogue of assists for Wigan Athletic although his side lost 2-1 at home to Reading.

Sunday

Socceroo Martin Boyle led his side to victory in the Edinburgh derby at Easter Road. Martin scored the opening goal in the 2-1 win as Hibernian took the local bragging rights against local rivals Heart of Midlothian.

Fresh from international duty, Ella Toone provided an assist in Manchester United’s 2-0 win against Leicester City in the WSL. Millie Turner and Hannah Cain made up a trio of FullNinety players on display.

Bethany England was on target for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City, but her side lost narrowly 2-1.

Liverpool were made to work hard for their 3 points in the WSL. Taylor Hinds captained ‘The Reds’ to a 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace. #FullNinetyFamily
