In the Scottish Premier League, Barrie McKay’s late introduction couldn’t unlock a stubborn Dundee United defence. Livingston had to settle for a goalless draw at Tannadice Park.

Wednesday

Martin Boyle’s clinical volleyed finish stunned the 50,633 crowd at Ibrox and set up a 2-1 victory for Hibernian against Rangers. Hibs go into the final fixture with an opportunity to secure European football next season.

Saturday

Hibernian concluded their SPL campaign with a limp display at Easter Road. The 1-0 defeat against Motherwell will mean that Martin Boyle’s side miss out on automatic European qualification after finishing in 5th place and now need Celtic to win the Scottish Cup in order to qualify.

Taylor Hinds featured in Arsenal’s comprehensive 3-1 win against Liverpool at Anfield to claim the WSL runners up spot and qualify for next seasons UEFA Champions League.

Also in the WSL, lioness Ella Toone completed 90 minutes for Manchester United as she returns to full fitness although ‘The Red Devils’ lost 1-0 at Chelsea.

Barrie McKay’s assist gave Livingston an early lead  in their final SPL match of the season. It was a short lived moment after Kilmarnock came from behind to win 4-1. #FullNinetyFamily
