Australian international Martin Boyle scored from the penalty spot for Hibernian in the SPL. However, Edinburgh outfit had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Falkirk.

Elliot Lee featured for Wrexham in the 2-0 victory against Reading in the Carabao Cup 3rd Round.

Tom Hamer completed the 90 minutes in Lincoln City’s valiant display against big spending Premier League side Chelsea. The West Londoners edged the Carabao Cup tie 2-1.

Midfield playmaker Aaron Morley was on target for Bolton in the Vertu Trophy. Wanderers beat Manchester City U21s 3-0.

Wednesday

Scottish international Kirsty Smith scored the winning goal in Nottingham Forest’s Subway League Cup clash against Newcastle United. 17 year old Issy Hobson featured at the heart of defence in the 2-1 victory.

Also in cup action, Liverpool hammered Sunderland 5-0 in St Helens. Lucy Parry made a 30 minute substitute appearance.

Bethany England’s Tottenham took the bonus point in the their cup match against Aston Villa. Spurs won 7-6 on penalties following a goalless draw.

Saturday

Tyrese Campbell led the line for Sheffield United who collected their first points of the season. ‘The Blades’ won 1-0 at Oxford United in the EFL Championship.

Coventry City comprehensively dispatched Birmingham City 3-0 in the EFL Championship. Key central defender Liam Kitching masterminded a clean sheet at the CBS Arena.

In the Scottish Premier League, Martin Boyle’s Hibernian collected a deserved point at league leaders Celtic after a goalless draw.

In League One, Tom Hamer assisted the winning goal for Lincoln City in the convincing 3-0 win at Peterborough United.

Harrogate Town earned the result of the day in League Two. Jack Evans claimed the assist in the 1-0 win at Jonny Smith’s Gillingham.

Tom Barkhuizen’s Barrow won 2-1 at Crawley in League One. Dion Pereira supplied a late assist for Town.  

Also in League Two, Toby Mullarkey (Fleetwood Town) and Ronan Darcy (Chesterfield) celebrated victories.

Sunday

In the Womens Super League, Bethany England captained Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-1 victory at Leicester City. Hannah Cain, Ashleigh Neville and Kit Graham completed a quartet of FullNinety clients on display at the King Power Stadium.

Ella Toone continued her brilliant early season form by scoring the winning goal for Manchester United in the 2-0 win away at Liverpool.

In the WSL 2, Southampton played out a 1-1 draw with Sunderland, where Tara Bourne, Jess Simpson and Fran Stenson featured.

North of the border in the SWPL, Emma Lawton supplied an assist for Celtic in the 4-0 demolition of Montrose. #FullNinetyFamily
