Gethin Jones made an immediate impact on his return to the Bolton side. He supplied the assist in the narrow 1-0 win over Forest Green Rovers. Aaron Morley had to be on top of his game after Wanderers’ battled for an hour with 10 men.

Salford City ground out a 1-1 draw away at Colchester United in League Two. The point keeps Luke Bolton’s men in the play-off spots.

Wrexham coasted to the top of the National League following a 3-0 win at Gateshead. Star player Elliot Lee will be hoping that it proves to be a pivotal point in the Season.

Oldham Athletic made it back-to-back wins to ease their National League relegation fears. Ben Tollitt produced a solid evening’s work in the 2-0 success.

Wednesday

Bethany England lined up for her new club Tottenham against former side Chelsea in the Conti Cup Quarter-Finals. Disappointingly, Spurs exit the competition after a 3-1 loss.

Taylor Hinds started for Liverpool, but they slipped to a 1-0 defeat against West Ham in the Conti Cup.

Saturday

Aaron Morley’s sensational 30 yard free-kick in front of the Sky Sports cameras sent Bolton on their way to a 2-1 victory at Charlton. Aaron’s quality performance earned him the SkyBet Man of the Match Award. Underpinned defensively by Gethin Jones, the win cements Wanderers’ position in the League One play-off places.

A late assist for Luke Bolton wasn’t enough for Salford City who returned from  Colchester United with nothing to show for their efforts after a 3-2 loss in League Two.

Aaron Holloway opened the scoring for Hereford in the National League North, but they lost 3-2 to Banbury.

Oldham Athletic maintained their unbeaten run thanks to a 1-1 draw at Aldershot. Ben Tollitt completed the 90 minutes for ‘The Latics’.

Sunday

Bethany England scored again for Tottenham Hotspur following her British record transfer move from Chelsea. Spurs progress into the FA Cup 5th Round after they dispatched London City Lionesses 5-0.

Lioness Ella Toone featured in Manchester United’s FA Cup tie at Sunderland. ‘The Red Devils’ edged a tight game 2-1 to progress.

Stoke City took on Stevenage Borough in the FA Cup 4th Round at the Bet365 Stadium. Tyrese Campbell supplied another assist as the Championship side knocked out the League Two promotion hopefuls 3-1.

Hollywood owned Wrexham were back in the spotlight at the Racecourse Ground. Elliot Lee’s men drew 3-3 with Championship giants Sheffield United in a brilliant FA Cup tie broadcast live on BBC.

Hannah Cain made her mark with an extra-time goal for Leicester City in the FA Cup. Faye Bryson and Emma Harries both featured for Reading who won 3-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw. #FullNinetyFamily
