Bolton Wanderers powered their way to the top of League One after a convincing 3-1 home win against Fleetwood. Gethin Jones made a huge defensive contribution, while Aaron Morley made a substitute appearance. Big defender Josh Earl grabbed a late consolation for Town

Callum Lang completed another 90 minutes of action, as Wigan Athletic battled to. 1-1 draw at Carlisle United.

Elliot Lee capped off a fantastic night for Wrexham by bagging a late goal at the Racecourse Ground. They beat Walsall 4-2.

Grimsby Town’s Toby Mullarkey celebrated a 2-0 home win against Luke Bolton’s Salford in League Two.

Crawley Town collected a 2-1 success against MK Dons with Ronan Darcy featuring heavily at The Broadfield Stadium.

FullNinety showcased four players in the starting line ups at Boundary Park. It was Halifax trio of Jack Evans, Tylor Golden and Jamie Stott who came out on top, as Halifax beat Ben Tollitt’s Oldham Athletic 2-1.

Ed Francis continued his impressive start to the National League season. He inspired Gateshead to a clinical 4-2 victory at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Wednesday

England beat host nation Australia 3-1 to book their place in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final. The Lionesses will play Spain in Sydney on Sunday. Ella Toone scored with a wonderful first half strike, while Bethany England was an unused substitute. 

Thursday

A second half Martin Boyle goal secured a mouthwatering Europa Conference play-off match for Hibernian. They will face Aston Villa after dispatching Luzern 5-3 on aggregate (2-2 on the night).

Heart of Midlothian will join Edinburgh rivals Hibs in the Conference League play-offs after beating Rosenborg 3-1 (4-3 on aggregate). Barrie McKay made a second half appearance, as he steps up his return from injury.

Saturday 

Callum Lang’s display was the feature for Wigan in their local derby against Bolton. Athletic ran out with an emphatic 4-0 away win. Gethin Jones and Aaron Morley both made starting appearances for Wanderers.

A Luke Bolton assist provided Salford’s opening goal at Tranmere. City went on to record a 4-3 victory at Rovers in League Two. 

Elliot Lee dispatched a penalty-kick, claimed an assist and scored an added time goal to earn Wrexham a point in an incredible game at the Racecourse Ground. After a 10 goal thriller, the match with Swindon Town finished 5-5!

Grimsby Town collected a point following their 1-1 draw with Mansfield Town. Toby Mullarkey completed another impressive 90 minutes.

In the National League; Ed Francis’ Gateshead cruised to a 4-1 home victory against Ebbsfleet. 

Sunday

Ella Toone and Bethany England can be hugely proud of their achievements after a gallant World Cup campaign. The Lionesses finished runners-up after a 1-0 defeat in the final at Stadium Australia against Spain. The team make history with their highest ever finish at a World Cup and will build on their experience at this tournament. Both players featured in the final and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

Back in the UK; Barrie McKay returned to the Hearts’ starting XI following injury and helped his side dispatch Partick Thistle 4-0 in the Scottish League Cup. 

Hibernian were also in cup action, with Martin Boyle getting another hour of competitive action under his belt. Hibs beatRaith Rovers 2-1. #FullNinetyFamily
