Tyrese Campbell supplied an assist for Stoke City as they came from behind to win 3-1 at Swansea City in the EFL Championship.

Rotherham United beat Sunderland 2-1 at the New York Stadium with Jamie Lindsay stepping off the substitute’s bench to sure up the home side’s midfield.

Toby Mullarkey scored his first goal for Rochdale since his move from Altrincham last month. Disappointingly though his side slipped to a 2-1 defeat.

Wrexham continue to trade blows rivals Notts County at the top of the National League. Elliot Lee’s men dispatched Scunthorpe United 2-0, while Ed Francis made a substitute appearance for County who hammered Southend 4-0.

Tylor Golden and Jamie Stott featured for Halifax during their 1-1 draw with Solihull Moors at The Shay Stadium.

Aaron Holloway and Ryan McLean both got on the scoresheet for Hereford. They had an impressive 3-1 win at AFC Fylde in the National League North.

Wednesday

Ella Toone returned to the England starting XI for the final Arnold Clark Cup game against Belgium. The Lionesses comprehensively dispatched their opponents 5-1 to claim the trophy.

Bolton booked their place at Wembley for the Papa John’s Trophy Final. Aaron Morley’s late wonder strike sealed a 2-0 win at local rivals Accrington Stanley.

Saturday

A solitary strike for Premier League leaders Arsenal was enough to take the points at Harry Souttar’s Leicester City. The London giants won 1-0 at The King Power Stadium.

Wigan Athletic’s unbeaten run came to a shuddering end at Deepdale. Despite Callum Lang’s endeavour they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Preston North End in the EFL Championship.

Oakwell was the venue for Barnsley to record a memorable victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Derby County. Liam Kitching’s men ran out 4-1 winners.

Wembley bound Bolton Wanderers were at it again in League One. They beat visitors Port Vale 2-1 with Aaron Morley and Gethin Jones again on form during the win.

A late equaliser at Crewe earned Rochdale a 1-1 draw in League Two, with Toby Mullarkey completing another 90 minutes to continue his smooth transition into the EFL.

Luke Bolton starred for Salford City in their League Two fixture at Mansfield. The former Manchester City academy graduate scored with a cool finish and supplied an assist during the 5-2 rout at Mansfield Town.

Elliot Lee’s brilliant strike opened the scoring for Wrexham in the National League. They beat Dorking 3-1 to maintain their quest for promotion.

Hereford dug out a 1-0 away win at Southport in the National League North. Aaron Holloway and Ryan McLean both made important contributions for ‘The Bulls’.

The New Saints were made to work for a point at Park Hall. The Welsh Premier League leaders drew 1-1 with Penybont. Man of the Match Dan Williams scored for TNS while Nathan Wood made no mistake with his spot-kick for the visitors.

Kit Graham put her 15 month injury nightmare behind her and made an extra-time substitute appearance for Tottenham Hotspur. They were edged out by Emma Harries’ Reading on penalties in the Women’s FA Cup 5th Round. #FullNinetyFamily
